We are sorry to announce that Claude and Sue’s daugther and our honorary member Tiffany McMullen passed away on April 26, 2009

Tiffany was born if Clearwater, Florida on March 17, 1975.  She was a part of the sixth generation of McMullens to live in Pinellas County.  She was a very bright, social and loving child, being in all advanced classes and being selected for the Duke University Talent Identification Program.  She attended Country Day Montissori Academy, Saint Pauls Elementary School, Oakhurst Elementary School, Seminole Middle School and graduated from Seminole High School in 1993.  Tiffany played softball with the Seminole Youth Athletic Association.  She loved to ride roller coasters, her poodles, her pens and her family.  She was honored to be a Paul Harris Fellow and an Honorary Member of the Seminole Rotary Club.

Tuff Tiff

In 1985 it was found that Tiffany had a brain tumor that changed her life, resulting in brain damage.  It did not destroy her beauty, her smile and her classic thumbs up.  Tiffany took piano lessons from June Stephenson.  Some of her favorite people were members of the Rotary Club of Seminole. Many will remember “THE LOOK” if you tried to touch her French fries or smoked a cigar, but her smile remained beautiful and infectious.

After a courageous battle of almost 24 years with a myriad of medical problems and insult to her body, Tiffany found peace April 26, 2009, after many years of loving medical care.  She was surrounded by a room full of family and loving friends.

This earth has been a much better place as a result of Tiffany McMullen and the lessons that she was able to teach all of us as well as the love with which she touched so many lives. Thank you, Claude and Sue for letting us share Tiffany.
