The Rotary Club of Seminole has an annual fund raiser with Birdies for Charity and the Chrysler Championship. Each year, our club contributes money which is used to guess how many birdies (one under par) the pro's will make for the tournament. If our Club guesses correctly, we receive a $1000 Kash & Karry gift certificate that is used to purchase food for the poor. In past years The Rotary Club of Seminole has contributed up to $15,000 to the fund raiser, which was used to guess different birdie combinations. Our Club always recieves the amount of our initial investment back, plus a share of $1,000,000 that Chysler donates to charities. The amount that the Club receives is based on how much is collected from all the charities for the Birdies for Charities Program. We as a club have increased our participation ever year.
