Laptops for Graduates
In 2025, Seminole High School reached out to our Rotary Club and requested 5 laptops for college bound graduating seniors in need. These students were identified and selected by the School's administrative team for their academic achievements and their demonstrated need.
This project was so successful that we expanded it in 2026. In partnership with Rotary District 6950, we have now grown the project to serve 15 SHS graduates. Because of the District's support, we were also able to include Aer Premium backpacks as part of the grant.
A big thank you to Susan Sims, College & Career Readiness Coordinator/Family & Community Liaison, for Seminole High School, who initially came to us with this project and coordinated with our Club on behalf of the high school.
Our Club plans to continue this initiative in the coming years, ensuring that more students have access to the technology they need for success in college and beyond.
